So im using windows 7 64bit, and just upgraded to Maya 2010 + 3DS Max 2010, and niether of them run!
Any one have any Ideas?
UPDATE -
After looking around the internet, people have said:
- Update to .NET 3.5
- Disable AntiVirus
- Re-Install
None of these things seem to work, .NET 3.5 is already installed with 7, I have no antivirus and ive tried to re-install.

Hey, No updates for a while, just had my Mock Exams, and got my finals in a few weeks.
Ive been very busy by study, although I am in the process of creating a dirtbike track in my garden. A few jumps and that. Will post pictures up when its done.
I am planning a new effect soon, (Probably after my exams ~4 weeks) and maybe even a short film. Updates soon!

As you may know, I do media studies at school. Its come to the time where our group has to create a short film/trailer.
We decided to create a trailer.
It will be based on the disaster genre, feature some cool VFX and editing and around 2-3-4mins long.

School holidays are finally here, am ready for a break! (2 weeks, not bad).
I am now facing the decision of whether or not to continue school next year to do NCEA level 3. If I don’t do it, I will be going to Lifeway college of 3d animation for a 2 year course.
Lifeway College is the highest grade 3d animation diploma in New Zealand and is relatively close to where I live. Cant wait to go!

I have started to texture the HK-Drone I was working on a while ago, Need to get up to scratch with Maya’s Hypershade, as I currently have no idea how to create a metallic texture! Help?
